Donated funds for the purchase of a life-saving Heart-Start Defibrillator to be used by the Civilians On Patrol in their assigned unit by the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office.

Donated funds for the purchase of a life-saving Heart-Start Defibrillator to be used exclusively at the Victoria County Juvenile Detention Center of the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office.

Donated funds for the purchase of special life-saving equipment worn in the training of Firefighters during their course of instruction at Victoria College.

Deputy Timothy Olsvosky died in the line of duty and on October 15, 2009 the Victoria 100 Club delivered a check in the amount of $20,000.00 to Mrs. Sarah Olsvosky, the deputy’s widow. Throughout 2010, Victoria 100 Club liaisons worked closely with Ms. Olsvosky to assure that her financial needs were met.

Donated funds to the Victoria Fire Department for the purchase of Rescue Tools.

Donated funds to the Raisin Volunteer Fire Department to assist in the repairs of a fire engine.

Working together with 5 Star Life Insurance Company, signed up all eligible “first responders” to provide them with a basic life/AD&D insurance policy at no cost to the “first responders” and coverage is 24/7. To date, 5 Star has paid out life insurance benefits to the family of 2 “first responders”.

January – Provided financial assistance to the family of Firefighter Ray Gregory during his rehabilitation from a fall while on duty.

January – The Victoria 100 Club implemented the Victoria Law Enforcement Academic Fund (VLEAF). This program was created to assist law enforcement personnel with their continuing education.

April – President Howard B. Goode presented the first VLEAF scholarship to Officer Zachary DeLaRosa.

July – 5 Star Life Insurance Company presented a check to the family of Daniel Teinert, who worked with the Victoria Fire Department and died in the line of duty.

November – Donated funds to the Victoria Police Department for the purchase of tasers.

November – Donated funds to the Victoria Police Department for the purchase of LED flashlights.

November – Donated funds to the Victoria Fire Department to assist in the purchase of fitness equipment.

December – Donated funds to Precinct 1, Precinct 2, Precinct 3, Precinct 4, Victoria Police Department and Victoria County Sheriff’s office for the purchase of practice ammo.

Donated funds to the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the purchase of a “drug dog” and training.
